With donuts taking Malaysia by storm, apparently someone came up with an idea that's closely similar to J.co & Big Apple's business model.
Look at all the different flavors their offering.. Suddenly making baos like a western pastry.


Look at their promotion, a dozen baos. Who buys so many baos? Just 2 will make me bloat already.
Until they get rave reviews, I'm sticking with 'char siew bao'.

P.S. I just remembered there used to be another outlet called "Baoz". Zhap lap d?

Time flies with PS3

Played 2 games on the PS3 yesterday.

1.A cute and fun platform game - LittleBIGPlanet

The characters are like those small dolls made out of thick strings.
They are customizable in-game.

The cool feature is that you can press either directional buttons and it will have different expressions on its face.
And then you can control either the left or right hands with the analog, moving them like Ultraman's ulti move or dancing like Saturday Nite Fever.
Another one is actually from the function of the controller. If you point your controller downwards, the character's head tilt downwards.
All of those had to be learned to take a wacky picture. Yes, it has a capture screenshot function.
Of course, those are actually the extra things that don't help in completing the game.

And did I mention they're cute? I didn't? Ok. they're cute. Super duper cute. Kawaii neh~ Do you want me to repeat? Cute CUTE C-U-T-E!

2.Race Driver: GRID
Although it was only a demo, it was still fun, especially with another new function of the PS3 controller. The R2 and L2 button is not just a normal flat button. It is like an accelerator pedal where you can control how much you're pressing.

It's cool to be able to control the revs as if you're driving a car.
And not to mention the flashback feature where you can rewind if you made a mistake and start again from a short period of time before your accident.
Oh, I just remembered I actually played 3 games. But the 3rd one's not counted as a PS3 game since it's just an old game that's put into its hard drive.

Puzzle Fighter. Best played with a friend. =)
Gosh..It's so easy to get addicted.
Get a PS3 now. It's only 420.

But a word of caution in case you think that's all you're going to spend.
Games are freakin' expensive but there are 2nd hand ones selling on Lowyat's forums.

Or you could download through a torrent which will be at least 5 gb and above where there are only 10 seeders. Blu-ray ya know...

Such addiction could have been curbed if people weren't formless enough and just stay at home,group chatting in MSN while one of the member's watching porn while chatting while doing some exercise.

anyway, after finishing what i was supposed to do in the morning, feeling all-so productive, i was in a good mood. and when you're in a good mood, you feel lucky. at least, for me.

So i hit the gym, parked at my usual illegal spot. since i was feeling lucky, i assumed that the police would not come and earn some commissions. Cause in the past few days, they kept coming and I kept avoiding them just by leaving the house late.

so while i was on the treadmill, i saw 3 police arrive at my spot. Damn!

so i continued training, and mr fittest in the gym took my machine and tegur me for hogging two machines at once. I damn beh syok d but he came and gave me advice. Well, alright, at least I made a friend.

after that, i bumped into shao teng. never thought i'd see him around here. turns out he joined 2 years ago and is in tip-top condition.

talk about being lucky. and i made a friend plus met an old friend. and not to mention a blue paper which i shall not disclose to my parents.

Nerd Captcha

Anyone who has signed up for something has definitely come across a Captcha image before.

It's usually the what is "2+2", "what is the opposite of good", type the numbers you see, type the stupid word you see..
But what if you got the one below?
